Sunday August 23 - Dim Sum In Hong Kong

Reached Hong Kong about 7:25 AM:

Will be staying in Kowloon. Dang I wish I went to Disney in Paris. Then I could have also visited Disney in HK and in Tokyo. What a wasted opportunity:

First things first, how's the dim sum in HK? It's alright. I think I'm too accustomed to Toronto's versions. Maybe I need to try another restaurant. I want something mind blasting. Here's me at the dim sum place admiring "slumdog millionaire" before eating:

After eating, walked around for a bit before heading to a temple:

Checked out Avenue of Stars and admired the view of Hong Kong from Kowloon:

Jackie is huge here:

My cousin's family in HK took us out for dinner. To our surprise it was one of those 10 course Chinese meals like at a wedding. Let me tell you, I was so so tempted to try my bowl of Shark Fin soup but resisted and gave it away. I promised to not eat it again because of how cruel the sharks are treated to make this dish. Man oh man I really wanted to try just a sip of that HK Shark Fin soup! I may never get the chance again. SIGH.

After dinner, visited Avenue of Stars again to see HK at night. It's very beautiful. I don't know if these pics do it justice:

  4. Wad up B, I only have a few pics of the natives. It's tough trying to take it discreetly with my camera. The natives are oh so lovely. haha

I think I'm lovin' Tokyo the best so far. You need to get out here.
I've been out to a few parties. Not as much as I would have liked. It's all good, still lovin' my trip.
