Wednesday August 26 - The Peninsula Hong Kong

My brother told me to call one of his good friends named Louie while in Hong Kong since he lives there. I spoke to Louie today and we're supposed to meet up later in the evening. He suggested we try out the Peninsula Afternoon Tea at the The Peninsula Hong Kong hotel, which we did.

You pay a premium for this tradition but it was well worth the experience. Very high class and simply amazing. You definitely must try this if you're ever in the city.

Live music from the balcony above:

Waiter pouring my tea:

I felt so underdressed. Where's my shirt and tie?

The sweets, finger sandwiches and pastries to go with our tea...mmmmmm yummy.

After an experience like that, we just had to book a room for the night. This 5 star hotel is very expensive but it's something we wanted to try. You only live once so why not. This hotel is located right beside the Avenue of Stars so imagine the view of Hong Kong from our 22 floor room.

Louie came by to pick us up and take us out:

First stop, Felix bar and restaurant on top of the Peninsula hotel:

One of the main attractions of Felix, the washroom. How about you do what you do while overlooking the city. Dang.

Next, bar and club hopping at the famous Lan Kwai Fong district. Oh and that's Louie's ride:
