Friday August 14 - Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame, Louvre Museum

Is it possible to visit Paris without visiting the Eiffel Tower? Of course, but I didn't want to miss this opportunity:

While lining up to buy tickets to go up the tower, I had myself a chicken and salad baguette sandwich (hi Stacey!) and admired a street artist:

Finally got my ticket and up we went:

And you thought I was joking about French pick pocketers. These signs were practically everywhere on the tower:

The view from above is pretty spectacular:

But if you are afraid of heights, you probably don't want to look straight down:

Next stop for the day, Notre Dame de Paris. First I had to stop off for some French pastry....mmmmmm:

Drum roll please...Introducing Notre Dame de Paris:

Three, two, one...hang time!

Mass in the cathedral:

Although we went by the Louvre Museum yesterday to take pics of the glass pyramid (The Da Vinci Code!), we bought tickets today to enter:

I made sure to visit the star of the museum. They won't let you near this thing. Tons of people were crowding around this beauty but I didn't know it was so tiny?
