First stop was Yoyogi Park:

In the park we visited Meiji Jingu, a sacred shrine built in 1920.
Like at Sensoji Temple, you can enter this hut-like structure to wash your hands and rinse your mouth:

More of the shrine:

We were privileged to witness a traditional Japanese wedding procession at the shrine:

For those who know me, you know I love roller coasters. I had to do some research to find one in Tokyo. I know there are some famous ones in Japan and I couldn't leave without trying one.
Enter Tokyo Dome City and the Thunder Dolphin roller coaster. It's made of steel and is currently the 5th tallest continuous circuit roller coaster in the world. It passes through both a hole in a building, as well as through the Big-O, a centerless Ferris wheel.
The view of the city from the ride is crazy. Check out this amazing youtube clip for a first person view of the entire ride.
